After a four-year absence, HUF made its triumphant return last week to L.A.’s Fairfax district, where the long-running skate brand opened the doors on its new storefront. The cleanly appointed space was the site of an exclusive launch party on July 14th, with notable attendees including the likes of Trinidad James, Josh Madden, Mike Carroll, Vinny Ponte, Chris Keefe, artist Cali Dewitt, writer Andrew Watt, Mega of Black Scale, Dr. Romanelli, Dom Deluca of Brooklyn Projects and Yaniv Evan of Powerplant. Of course Keith Hufnagel was in the house, with HUF team riders Peter Ramondetta, Brad Cromer, Kevin Terpening, and Austyn Gillette joining in on the festivities. Guests got a good look at Haroshi’s notorious middle finger sculpture, made of recycled skateboards, while also enjoying special DJ sets by HUF’s own Cleanwhitelinens and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Be sure to check out the shop if you’re in the area.
